Sennen Genmai is a new brand from Tsuji Farm, which specializes in organic rice production.
It is produced with the intention of enriching people’s dietary life by providing them with truly delicious and safe brown rice.
Brown rice has been attracting attention in recent years as a healthy food that is particularly rich in nutrients, especially vitamins B and dietary fiber, found in higher amounts in brown rice than in white rice.

The area where Tsuji Farm is located has been certified as “Millennium Village” by the Millennium Village Project, which researches factors contributing to long-term sustainability.
The area is mentioned in Japan’s oldest official dictionary, the “Wamyo Ruijusho,” and has a history of more than 1,000 years.
The compact, box-like landscape, historic shrines, and peaceful residents make this area a relaxing place to live.

New method of rice cultivation
We use this historic land to create and develop rice products that excite people today, as well as the techniques and ideas that produce them.
The rich nature, environment and ecosystems are the soil that produce our excellent agricultural products.
We use drones and sensors to collect climate, soil, and crop health data to improve our crops. Every autumn, we gather with our friends and family to celebrate and share the joy of the harvest with food, art and music. We enjoy building our farm upon the celebrations of each year.

The raw brown rice used for Sennen Genmai is 100% organic rice produced on our farm.
We practice organic farming methods to produce delicious rice, which we have been researching since 2016, only on carefully selected farmland.
Organic farming requires a delicate balance with natural conditions.
Our goal is ecological and economical production, without relying on large-scale facilities and with minimum labor.
We challenge ourselves to a process of trial and error in our daily production activities to optimize our organic farming methods.

Brown rice is white rice before the outer husk (bran) is removed, i.e., just the husk is removed from the rice seed (rice).
